The title of this book is Mobile Usability, but in truth we’ve covered only telephones and tablets. Even worse, because we hardly discussed feature phones, almost everything in the book so far has been about flat touch screens—from small touch screens on phones to big touch screens on tablets. In this chapter we take a broader view of mobile computing and consider other types of user interfaces we may see in the future.
