TwitterSearch Sample Application

TwitterSearch is a simple application we developed for demonstration purposes in this lecture. It allows end users to search tweets from twitter.com via Twitter’s REST Search API. To highlight the implementation differences, the same application was ported to each of the four mobile platforms we covered in this lecture namely, iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Mobile Web.

The TwitterSearch application user interface consists of two screens:

• Search Screen: Contains one text input box which allows the user to input keywords to search for on Twitter, and a search button.

• Results Screen: Presents the search results in a list, which shows the text of tweets containing the search item, the name of the tweet’s ...
