The app “Artisan” is an abstract image generator whose visual parameters are determined by your gestures with one, two, or three fingers. At times, it is like playing a musical instrument. A number of mobile artists, particularly Helene Goldberg and Patricio Villarroel, have integrated elements created in “Artisan” into their iPhone and iPad art.
