Flash Lite
Macromedia Flash Lite is a new profile of Macromedia Flash Player that is designed specifically for mobile phones. This new profile was needed, according to Macromedia, because mass-market phones do not have sufficient processing power and memory to support the entire Flash Player 7 feature set while supporting unique requirements such as network connectivity. Macromedia says it is continuing to create profiles for other key device categories such as interactive television set top boxes and PDAs.
