Pocket PC

The Pocket PC platform from Microsoft is the latest iteration in a series of devices based on a “light” version of Microsoft Windows. The functions are similar to Windows and are tightly integrated. Numerous formats such as Word, Excel, and Web and e-mail functions are available without conversion from a desktop machine to the Pocket PC. Some of the most striking features about these devices are the rich multimedia functions, including advanced graphic support, animation, audio, and even video.
