Other Options for Mobile Professionals

Let us briefly look at two mobile trends—one a few years old but still developing and one fairly cutting edge—that are of benefit to professionals constantly on the go. The first is synchronization for off-line use of content, even when no wireless connection is available. The second is voice-based access to data content. This pushes the boundaries of speech recognition and playback of recorded and computer-generated materials. Before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s examine synchronization in more detail.
