After sunset, a visitor pauses pensively at a temporary exhibition highlighting the social and cultural diversity that was destroyed in Berlin under the Nazi regime in the years following 1933.
When I saw this man stop to take in the exhibition, I instructed my assistant to quickly move behind the column on the left and point the zoomed strobe directly at the man’s face.
