In this chapter, we look at a fairly substantial mod called ComputerCraft.
ComputerCraft is a mod that allows you to make projects using computer blocks. You can program the computer in a language called Lua. The computer can also have inputs and outputs that connect to redstone devices. This allows the computer to control mechanical things in your Minecraft world.
In addition to computer blocks, there are also monitors and robots (called turtles) that can be programmed like a computer. You can also communicate between computers, making networks, as well as connect to the Internet and interact with web services such as Twitter.
