3. Working with Regular Minecraft

There are a myriad of options available for you to set up a Minecraft server if you don’t want to use MinecraftEdu. But as this book goes to press, one of the major players in creating your own server, CraftBukkit, has been subject to a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) take-down and is no longer available for download. Other server-creation software platforms are looking precarious too, with Spigot also the subject of a DMCA take-down.
