Windows 7—The Best of All Worlds?

To appreciate the power of Windows 7 networks, you need to understand how earlier versions of Windows handled networking. Windows Vista expanded this with robust IPv6, network discovery, and network location features. Windows 7 merely adds the concept of homegroups while still fully supporting both Vista’s File Sharing Wizard and even full-blown, old school NTFS sharing.
