One Step Further

Previously, you focused on the direct mapping techniques from iOS to Android. The results are a set of instructions and guidelines that you can follow to port iOS apps with a user interface to the Android platform. However, you can create more than a user interface and you actually have more freedom in Android. You will discover more of the uniqueness of the Android Application Framework, including application resources and the other application components.

You will be introduced to porting the common mobile use cases from iOS to Android as a whole, instead of lower-level SDK class-to-class mappings. These individual topics are introduced in no particular order. They are all commonly used in iOS apps as well.
