Achieving a comfortable sense of work/life balance is always challenging for mid-career professionals. As your professional responsibilities begin to increase at work so, naturally, do personal commitments outside of work. At this point in your career, you may experience stressful situations in your personal life that can have an impact on your professional goals: starting or managing a family, dealing with the concerns of aging parents, or coping with an unforeseen illness, just to name a few.
