Microwave Experiments

17.1 INTRODUCTION

A total of nine microwave laboratory experiments are described in this chapter. Each experiment begins with the aim of the experiment, equipment required, microwave bench setup, initial settings of the equipment, and experimental procedure and ends with observations and results. The microwave bench available in the laboratory has Reflex Klystron as a microwave source and is designed to accommodate an X-band signal (8–12 GHz). In case of the Gunn diode oscillator characteristics experiment, the Gunn diode oscillator is used in place of Reflex Klystron.
