Users are MicroStrategy Configuration Objects utilized to create profiles to access MicroStrategy platform tools, capabilities, functionalities, and Projects. Because Users reside within the MicroStrategy Metadata, it allows you to employ the same object across all different tools and servers to authenticate and dictate what and how MicroStrategy should be used. As a Configuration Object, a User is not created within a specific Project, but instead is to be shared among available projects. To create and manage Users, you can utilize MicroStrategy Developer's Administrator tree | User Manager.
