An administrative User can perform the following operations over caches:
- Delete: Removes the cache from memory and the file from disk
- Invalidate: Voids the cache, but any User with a History List message pointed to it will remain active
A History List message is a shortcut to a Report's result set that can be retrieved at any time, without having to re-execute the Report. It can be created in Developer by right-clicking on a Report | Send to History. In MicroStrategy Web, an executed Report can be sent to the History list by opening the Report Home menu | Add to History List.
