Automating Scripts – Command Manager

Sometimes, it is necessary to perform a large number of changes to MicroStrategy objects, for example, User creation or cache invalidation. In other scenarios, there might be the need to call MicroStrategy commands from a third-party scheduling tool such as BMC Control-M. MicroStrategy Command Manager allows administrators to execute text commands or scripts to perform and automate application and administrative tasks in batches. It also allows scheduling tools such as BMC Control-M or Airlfow Scheduler to trigger MicroStrategy commands, for example, to refresh Intelligent Cubes or trigger MicroStrategy Events.
