This finalizes the chapter. At this point, you should be able to point the differences between the Schema and the Public/Application Objects in MicroStrategy. You should also be able to create and understand the following Application Objects:
- Report
- Template
- Filter
- Metric
Additionally, you should now understand how to perform some basic Report manipulations such as Page-by, pivoting, sorting, drilling, exporting, and switching to graph mode, among others.
The next chapter will cover some important concepts and objects that will help the developer to enhance the reporting Application, such as custom Groups, Prompts, Drill Maps, and Intelligent Cubes.
