Events and properties are usually taught as two separate areas of development skill when learning how to author software. But when dealing with Expression Blend, there are three areas in the application where you will be working with events and two areas where you will be working with properties. You will come to see how they are related to each other loosely, how calling or setting a property can raise an event and, conversely, how raising an event can set a property evaluation to true.
