One of the areas that can sometimes be frustrating for new users is that of data binding. There are some conceptual hurdles to get over when working in Blend and until you understand the flow of objects and how they can be bound, you will most likely run around in circles, at the very least where binding to a CLR (Common Language Runtime) object is concerned.
