The New Help and Support Application

While this application appears as a separate entry on the Start Menu, it also appears on the first page of the Control Panel if you use the Category View. Since Windows XP Help can be very useful in learning new tasks and troubleshooting problems, you may want to take some time to learn how it works.

You can launch Help and Support, shown in Figure 14.17, from the Start Menu, by pressing the F1 key (although if you are inside an application, F1 may open help for that particular application instead), from within the Control Panel, and from many other locations throughout Windows.
