Use Your Autorun CD

You can easily install most programs because they come with their own CDs with the Autorun feature enabled. You simply insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive, wait a few seconds, and the installation wizard program pops up to guide you through the installation process.

For older programs, use the Command Prompt or Windows Explorer to search for a file called setup.exe or install.exe on floppy disks or CDs if the application was created before the Autorun feature became popular.
