Using the Policy Activity

Forward chaining is a situation that arises when more than one rule is to be processed. For Rule Condition situations, this is never the case—there is only one rule. In fact, it’s not even a complete rule but rather a Boolean expression. However, the Policy activity changes all that. With the Policy activity, you do have the opportunity to combine multiple rules and you might (or might not) see the effects of forward chaining.

When you use a Policy activity, rules are aggregated into a collection, and this collection is maintained by the WF RuleSet object.
