Setting Photo Gallery Options
Windows Photo Gallery allows you to set general and import options. The general options allow you to show pictures and video previews in tooltips, specify how long to keep original photos that are fixed, and whether to get program update alerts. The import options allow you to specify import settings for cameras, CDs and DVDs, or Scanners. The import settings specify where Windows Photo Gallery import pictures based on date and tag criteria.
