If text and other items, such as icons, on the screen are not large enough for you to comfortably view, you can customize the screen to display items larger. Windows Vista allows you to increase the Dots Per Inch (DPI) scale (New!), which is the number of dots that a device can display or print per linear inch. The greater the number, of dots per inch, the better the resolution.
