Chapter 3. Installing Windows Small Business Server 2003

This chapter covers performing a clean installation of Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 Service Pack 1. A clean installation provides the best performance and stability; however, it wipes out any existing data and settings on the server.

The steps in this chapter assume you are installing an integrated version of SBS 2003 SP1. If you’re working from an older set of pre-SP1 media, the overall process is the same, but the actual steps might be slightly different.
