Using the Start Menu

To start a Microsoft Office application, such as Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Outlook, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office Access, or Microsoft Office InfoPath, on a computer running Windows XP:

  • Click the Start button, point to All Programs, click Microsoft Office, and then click the application you would like to start.

Folders on the Windows Vista Start menu expand vertically. Folders on the Windows XP Start menu expand horizontally. You will notice this variation between the images shown in this book and your Start menu.
