Performance Tuning

Performance tuning is the process used to improve the way a system performs, and it is a twofold task. As an administrator, you must find ways to improve the performance of an underperforming server. To help you analyze and improve server performance, Windows Server includes multiple tools, including the Command Prompt tools, Resource Monitor, and Performance Monitor. These tools, which are available on Windows clients as well, will help you analyze performance so that you can adjust settings; remove services or applications; install improved services, applications, or drivers; or take other actions to improve system performance.
