Managing Active Directory

Windows Server ships with several tools for managing Active Directory (AD) installations. These tools allow you to create user accounts, groups, and other objects within the AD deployment. They also allow you to manage the architecture for sites, domains, and trust relationships. In this chapter, you will begin by exploring the different AD management tools available to you. Then you will move on to discover how you can work with user accounts and groups. This includes understanding user and group management the Microsoft way, which is with the AGDLP model. Finally, you will learn more about organizational units than you did in preceding chapters.
