5.7. Summary

Group Policy brings powerful controls over networked systems under administrative control from a central management console. There are many policy settings, and you are required to understand how polices are assigned to users and machines at a local and global level, that knowledge gives you very fine control over system behaviors. Use Group Policy to make your systems run more efficiently, add or remove features, and touch nearly every feature that Windows Server 2008 supports.
