Chapter 2. Deploying Windows Server 2008

If you install Windows Server 2008 from a DVD locally, you might not notice that the installation routine for the Windows operating system hasn't changed much from previous versions. You'll see a set of dialog boxes similar to the ones that appeared in Windows Server 2003 and XP. You also might not notice that the installation proceeds a little faster than before. When you perform a network installation from a share point, those installations don't seem operationally different than in past versions either.
