Configuring a NAT Server

To configure a NAT server, follow these steps:

1.
Launch Routing And Remote Access from the Administrative Tools folder on the Programs menu.
2.
Right-click the server in the console tree, and choose Configure And Enable Routing And Remote Access from the shortcut menu.
3.
The Routing And Remote Access Server Setup Wizard starts. To continue, click Next.
4.
In the Configuration dialog box, select Custom Configuration.
5.
Select NAT and Basic Firewall in the Custom Configuration dialog box.
6.
Click Finish and click Yes to start the Routing and Remote Access service.
7.
In the Routing and Remote Access MMC, right-click NAT/Basic Firewall and select New Interface from the shortcut menu, as shown in Figure 34-5.
