Adding and Removing Windows Components
To add or remove one of these optional components, open Control Panel, click Add Or Remove Programs, and then click the Add/Remove Windows Components icon on the left side of the window. The various components are grouped by type, with the currently installed components checked.
To remove a component, clear its check box; to add a component, select its check box. After you make your selections, click Next. Click Next again, and your Windows components are updated. You might be prompted to insert your Windows installation CD-ROM. After the update completes, click Finish.
