Saving to My Computer

My Computer is the most general output category, used whenever the more specific categories don't apply. For example, if you're creating a file for posting to a Web site, but don't have an account with a Movie Maker–compatible video-hosting provider, use this option to produce the file.

As with all the output options, I assume that you've completed your project, and it's sitting on the Timeline ready for output. I'll start with the simplest case: saving a file for playback from your own hard disk using default settings. This is the simplest approach and should work for most users.
