Getting Video Clips to the Timeline
Timeline view is where you'll spend the bulk of your editing time. Although it's not quite as straightforward as Storyboard view, the advantages of working in it quickly become apparent.
This section identifies the various Timeline tracks and explains how to get clips from the Contents pane to the Timeline. If your Timeline starts getting cramped or otherwise out of control, skip ahead one section to learn how to customize your Timeline view.
As mentioned earlier, Movie Maker automatically inserts the audio captured with the video file on the appropriate track when you transfer the video, so you don't have to worry about manually moving the Audio track yourself.
