Chapter 6. Working With Still Images

As much as I enjoy video, I often carry my digital still camera either as an adjunct to or instead of my DV camera. There are many reasons, most of them pretty obvious.

For example, I can't afford the digital flat panels that reportedly adorn the walls of Chez William Gates, so I need printed pictures to hide the cracks and peeling wallpaper. Second, as much as the grandparents enjoy videos of my kids, they also want printed photographs, now produced with my digital camera and either an Epson printer or a service like www.snapfish.com.
