Appendix B. Creating Movies in Photo Story

As described in “Editing Still Images” in Chapter 9, Movie Maker can create slide shows from your digital images, complete with narration and background music. What Movie Maker can't do is add pans and zooms to the images, like those popularized by Ken Burns in his Baseball and Civil War documentaries (and often called Ken Burns' effects). For this, you need a product like Microsoft Plus! Photo Story, a component of Microsoft's $19.95 Plus! Digital Media Edition (DME).
