Creating RIS Images

After your RIS servers, you must decide how to distribute the operating system. There are two ways to do that. You can perform a CD-based installation or you can perform a mirror installation, which is cloning computers. You’ve already configured the RIS server for CD-based installations. This section describes how to create mirror-image installations.

Use Riprep.exe to create mirror images. Riprep.exe allows you to create customized images to install on your client operating system.
