Keeping Track of New Security Issues from Microsoft

For Windows 2000 customers, we can be thankful that we have many resources for issues about security with both the Windows 2000 operating systems and the BackOffice products that run on these systems. As if there were not enough non-Microsoft Web sites to give us information, the actual Microsoft Web site is a well of information if you know how to use it.

When a security breach is reported to Microsoft, the company issues bulletins to those who subscribe to its mailing list. This service gives a system administrator quick information, directly from Microsoft, and many times includes a patch or advisory about the security problem.
