Security Issues with DNS

The security issues with DNS can be much more serious than the issues raised by DHCP. With DHCP, the attacker needs to physically enter your facility. DNS attacks can happen remotely and can cause disruptions in your ability to service customers, cause issues with people reaching your home page, and in some cases, even redirect your users to a bogus site. Some specific DNS attacks include the following:
