Summary
CryptoAPI contains more than 100 functions with the prefixes Crypt and Cert. It wasn't my goal to discuss each of them in detail. However, after reading this chapter, you have gained some basic skills that will help you develop secure applications using CryptoAPI.
The material in this chapter should help you choose the appropriate means of achieving your goals, whenever you think your application needs functionality provided by any area of CryptoAPI. I'm also sure now that you won't get lost in terminology whenever you need to dive into the depths of the developer documentation.
