Configuring a Connection
The next page captures the method of deployment and connection information. The method of deployment is selected by using the Publish Method drop-down. There are four different options here: Web Deploy (formerly known as One-Click Publishing), Web Deploy Package, FTP, and File System. Of all the options available, Web Deploy is the best in terms of leveraging Visual Studio to do the heavy lifting.
