The Customer Experience Program
The Visual Studio help menu includes the item Customer Feedback Options. This option enables you to participate in the Visual Studio Experience Improvement Program. Choosing to participate enables Microsoft to collect information on your hardware and software configuration and how you use the tools. It does not send personal information. Of course, you can use this same menu item to opt out of the program.
