Windows Azure provides a number of options for storing data for use by your application. You can store massive amounts of data in a cost-effective way using this platform. This data is kept close to your applications for fast access. It also is triple-replicated automatically to ensure failover. This section takes a look at the Azure specific data storage options. We review these when you create a sample application near the end of this chapter.
