Managing Add-ins

Visual Studio add-ins are controlled with the Visual Studio Add-in Manager, which enables you to do two things: load and unload any registered add-in and specify how an add-in can be loaded. To access the Add-in Manager (see Figure 15.9), select Tools, Add-in Manager.

This dialog box always displays a list of any available add-ins on the local machine. Checking or unchecking the box next to an add-in’s name causes the add-in to immediately load or unload.
