The Registry Editor

The Registry Editor is used to create or modify registry entries on the target computer. The left pane of the editor shows the four HKEY “hives,” and the User/Machine hive. You can walk down through the registry folder structure, find the location for your registry key, and then right click in the right pane to specify the key name and default value (see Figure 12.8).
