Designing Your User Interface

There is a lot that goes into building a good web user interface. So much so that some solid planning is typically in order before you start dragging controls onto forms. Your first step should be to consider your options, the needs of the users, and your maintenance requirements. You then put this information into some sort of design plan. Your design plan should include the following:

• Determine the type of information and user activity your site needs to support. You might make a list of the screen types in your system.
