In the previous sections, you learned the different methods of storing state information in ASP.NET. Although all the methods are relatively simple and basically perform the same functions, all the methods mentioned accomplish the tasks in different manners. Each approach offers different advantages and disadvantages. When deciding which method to use, you should carefully balance the ease of use and speed with the need for scalability, durability, and security.
