Summary

Now we have gone through some of the most important roles used by Configuration Manager and how we can deploy them as highly available. Many of these roles can be complex in a large environment and often involve other factors that we can cover in this book. We explored how we could deploy a site database server as a clustered SQL server, how Active Directory works, and how it uses DNS to operate. We also took a look into the new features of DHCP in Windows Server 2012 and failover options, and also how we can leverage these in our environment.

In the next chapter, we will look into how we can back up and restore our Configuration Manager solution.
