Enabling Network Discovery for the Runbook Designer
Network discovery is a network setting built in to all Windows operating systems; it controls whether or not the system can find other systems on the local network using built-in network services. The Runbook Designer in particular requires visibility to other systems on the network, yet the Network Discovery setting might or might not be enabled on a Windows system where Runbook Designer is installed.
To enable network discovery on a system where Runbook Designer has been installed, do the following:
1. Log on to the system where Runbook Designer is installed using an account that is a member of the local administrators group.
