Installing the Runbook Designer
Unlike the other Orchestrator features, Runbook Designer can be installed on a Windows 7 workstation in addition to a Windows Server 2008 R2 server. To start the installation of the Runbook Designer, log on to the server using an account that is a member of the local administrators group. Then initiate the Orchestrator Setup Wizard by executing the startup file (SetupOrchestrator.exe) from the installation media or an ISO file, or use a copy of the setup files from a shared network location.
Once the wizard has started, use the following steps to perform the installation:
1. From the System Center Orchestrator 2012 Setup screen, shown previously in Figure 17.1, under Standalone Installations, click on Runbook Designer. ...
